Executive Director of Columbia University’s Earth Institute, Steve Cohen, gave positive reviews of the rezonings that have taken place in New York City since Mayor Bloomberg took office. Cohen argues that these rezonings have helped sustained the character of low-density neighborhoods, encouraged economic growth in commercial areas and improved the sustainable future of the City.
